NEW SDI PRODUCTS

Our latest R&D effort at BVS has been the design of a 'generic' six layer PC board which, depending on the internal programming, will handle a number of specialized SDI requirements.  This approach has enabled a substantial cost saving compared to traditional product design.  The FR601, 1RU frame and power supply will house up to 3 boards of any mix.  An optional redundant power supply is also available.  We call these products our "FR601 Family of SDI Boards":  
 

CARDKEY 2 - an SDI linear keyer with adjustable transparency.  Three boards may be cabled for 3 layer keys with auto timing.

MASTERKEY CK-2 - an SDI chroma keyer with adjustable hue and key level, for blue & green screen backgrounds  

VBI-232D - an SDI version of our popular VBI data transmission system.  The SDI encoder has been designed to communicate with both a digital or an analog decoder.

DFB200 - an SDI fade to black unit

DMA200 - an SDI A/B mix amp

DCB-21 - an SDI closed captioning re-positioner and bridge to prevent captions from blocking emergency warnings

CCA-21 - an SDI closed captioning alarm to monitor program video

DSC300 - an SDI signal comparator and alarm - an ideal tool for large switching centers

VC-1D - an SDI V-chip encoder to insert program rating data into an SDI signal

CC-101D - an SDI closed captioning encoder to encode CC data onto line 21 of an SDI signal
