SDI EQUIPMENT

The FR601 family of plug-in SDI boards:

The FR601 family is based on a 'generic' six layer PC board which, depending on the internal programming, will handle a number of specialized SDI requirements.  This approach has enabled a substantial cost saving compared to traditional product design.  The FR601 frame and power supply can accommodate any mix of three SDI boards listed below (optional redundant p.s. available):

CARDKEY 2 - Linear SDI keyer with adjustable transparency, card edge control plus GPI, or optional remote panel.

MASTERKEY CK-2 - SDI chroma keyer with adjustable hue and key level, for blue and green screen backgrounds

DFB200 - Frame accurate fade to black with GPI.

DMA200 - Frame accurate A/B mix amp with GPI.

DSC300 - Signal comparator and alarm, compares two SDI streams and triggers GPO's on any difference or impairment of video or embedded audio.

VBI-232D - Encoder/decoder for transmission of remote control data in the Vertical Ancillary Space (VANC).

DCB-21 - SDI Closed Captioning positioner/bridge prevents previously encoded captions from blocking local road/weather warnings and EAS crawls.  Also bridges CC data around 'unfriendly' processing equipment.

CCA-21 - SDI Closed Captioning alarm constantly monitors SDI program video to ensure valid closed captioning.

VC-1D - SDI V-chip encoder to insert program rating data into an SDI signal.

DSA-100 - Versatile graticule generator to ensure proper coverage of all aspect ratios.
